Here are the basics to know before your visit to Big Screen Escapes.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
What is an escape room? +
You’re “locked” in one of our rooms for 60 minutes, working your way through a legendary story while solving puzzles, figuring out combinations to locks, and using some other creative methods to get things to open in order to find your way to the end and “escape.” We should note, the doors are never actually locked!
Are our rooms private? +
Yes, all Big Screen Escapes bookings are 100% private. You will never be paired with strangers.
How long is an escape room? +
You'll have up to 60 minutes to complete your mission. Plan for a little additional time before and after the game for your introduction and wrap-up.
Can two people play? +
Yes — two-player groups can absolutely play! Some rooms may feel more challenging with fewer hands, but it’s very doable (and a blast).
Are escape rooms family-friendly? +
It’s an experience that is fun for the entire family! Bring the kids! Bring Grandma! Everyone loves fun.
Are the rooms scary? +
Only if it sounds scary to be in a room with your family and friends for 60 minutes! Kidding asside, our rooms are appropriate for all ages and are not scary.
YOUR VISIT
When should we arrive? +
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled game time so your group can get checked in and ready before your adventure begins.
What should we bring? +
You don't need any special equipment. Just bring your group, your problem-solving skills and a positive attitude!
Do you accept walk-ins? +
We will accept walk-ins when availability permits, but we always suggest calling ahead to make sure we have a room available for you.
Do you accept cash? +
Yes. If you need to make arrangements to pay with cash, please call us at 272-219-0777.
Is there an age requirement? +
The rooms at Big Screen Escapes are appropriate for all ages. From a difficulty perspective, we say the games are built with ages 12+ in mind, but kids younger can absolutely still participate. We also do not charge for the first two children who are ages 6 and under.
Is there a height requirement? +
Nope.

How do I book? +
Choose your adventure and use our online booking system to select an available date and time. If you have questions or any issues, please call us at 272-219-0777.
How much does it cost? +
Escape rooms are $35 per person. Check the website for any daily specials that may be available when you're planning your visit.
What if I have a large group? +
We love hosting larger groups. Depending on your group size, we can help determine the best combination of rooms, times and locations for your visit.
Which location should I choose? +
Big Screen Escapes has locations in Mount Pocono and Tannersville. Each location has different adventures, so choose based on the room that sounds most fun for your group.
Can you host corporate or other group events? +
Yes. Escape rooms are a great fit for team outings, birthdays, school groups, organizations and other group experiences.
